On Vallinam’s success

I am overwhelmed by the positive response to this film. I am happy that my debut turned out to be a hit, which doesn’t happen for all. The entire cast and crew of the film is the reason for its success. In fact, many appreciated me that my role in the film was subtle and natural. We shot this film for three years, and I think our hardwork paid off.

Upcoming projects

For now, Marumunai, directed by Mariesh Kumar, assistant to director Bhagyaraj, will release very soon. I am also shooting for a Telugu film.

Being Tamilian

I was born in Chennai and brought up in Bengaluru. Being Tamilian, I am happy about the fact that I am part of Kollywood, and I can also easily understand how things work.

If not an actor

I would have been a dancer, as I have been learning Bharatanatyam since the age of three. But now I like being an actor, and will continue to be one.

Romance on screen

I wish to act with Suriya. I have always been his fan, and sharing screen space with him will be like a dream come true
