New Delhi: According to media reports on Monday, veteran Congress leader ND Tiwari has finally admitted Rohit Shekhar as son.
Shekhar had filed a paternity suit in 2008 seeking to declare Tiwari as his biological father. However, Tiwari had repeatedly denied the claims.
Reportedly, on Sunday night, Mr Tiwari invited Rohit Shekhar to his house and spoke to him for the first time in years.
Tiwari, an 89-year-old, had sought to settle the matter out-of-court. But, Shekhar and his mother said they will contest the case.
The Delhi High Court had in July, 2012, read out a DNA report in the case, according to which Tiwari was shown as Shekhar's biological father.
