‘Quality must precede quantity in fitness’
To me, fitness means enjoying a workout without getting breathless. I work out for only a short duration but utilise the entire time quite intensely. For putting in more gruelling hours and exercising longer doesn’t essentially enhance one’s fitness regime. Rather it is wiser to increase the number of exercise sets within a short slot. Like, I can do 25 or even 35 sets at a stretch. I may only take a break in between to drink water and hydrate my body.
I like working out in silence at the gym. It keeps my mind fairly in focus and helps me concentrate better on the exercises. I mostly work on my chest and the back areas. I’m lucky my body responds very quickly. Therefore, weight flip flops come quite easily to me. Besides, I climb up the stairs, ride a horse for a couple of hours a day and even play different energy boosting games.
My diet chart is pretty unrestricted. I practically eat anything and everything. Since I have a compulsive sweet-tooth, I can’t even resist gorging on chocolates and other delicious dairy products.
