Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth, who has always enjoyed a larger than life image, is now living up to it in style. Proving to his fans that almost anything is possible in his films, his latest offering, the 4 D film, Kochadaiiyaan, will allow his fans to not only share screen space with him , but also see his hoardings come alive as they drive past them on the roads.
All they need to do is upload their smartphones with the INGAGE app to read a 4D marker on the hoardings of the film and then wait for a promotional gimmick such as they have never been seen before, unfold. Thanks to the app, Kochadaiiyaan will seem to jump from the hoarding to give them a jab with his spear. It will even allow them to sing and dance with his image and give him a hug.
Even better, it will allow them to share ‘screen’ space with Rajni as Kochadaiiyaan and upload it on any social networking site. The technology, developed by mobile phone company, Karbonn, uses augmented reality, that combines the real scene and a virtual scene to create the desired effect.
