Mumbai: According to reports, actor Aamir Khan has bought himself a customised armoured vehicle, which apparently costs Rs 10 crore.
The purchase follows various reports in the media which claimed the actor had received threats to his life.
Sources quoted in the newspaper reports claim the Mercedes-Benz 600, is a complete “bomb-proof” vehicle which can also withstand repeated small arms fire.
Insiders claim the actor was advised to buy the armoured car after he "touched upon certain controversial subjects" in his TV show, Satyameva Jayate.
