After a rather dark drive on the Highway, Alia Bhatt’s next film, 2 States is a stark contrast. Not only is the film funny, but also is her co-star Arjun Kapoor. We hear that the actor has been cracking up Alia on the sets with his jokes and one liners.
“Not many people know that Arjun has a great sense of humour. He is very sarcastic and you have to be alert to know when he’s saying something funny. You have to pick it up real quick,” she says adding, “I can’t pick out a joke because there were so many of them! Shooting for the film was a breeze because he made me laugh so much.”
Alia admits that the Sajid Nadiadwala-Karan Johar flick is very different from her previous film, but it wasn’t a conscious decision. “Highway was a difficult film for me, but it will always have a very special place in my heart. Now with 2 States, there’s going to be a whole lot of laughter ahead,” she adds.
