Kejriwal clarifies on Lok Sabha seat option
Kejriwal said his party is finalizing candidate names.
New Delhi: Putting aside the speculation that former social welfare minister Rakhi Birla would be fielded against Congress MP from the New Delhi, Ajay Maken, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said his party was not going to field any of its legislators for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. 3
Mr Kejriwal said his party was in the process of finalizing the names of its second list.
Asked whether the MLAs would also be fielded in the Lok Sabha elections, the AAP leader told the reporters, " No ticket will be given to any MLA." He said the party was going by the procedures and if any one could prove serious charges against any of its candidates, his ticket would be immediately cancelled.
