Krishna Khadi Gramodyog Sansthan is organising Weaves India Exhibition-cum-sale at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium Ground, Kaloor, Kochi. Mr Hibi Eden, MLA, inaugurated the exhibition.
The aim of the exhibition is to promote Indian artistry through which more than 10,000 artisan families benefit every year.
In the exhibition, the artisans from different states showcase their artwork. A great collection of Kalamkari, Mangalgiri dress material, exotic collection of silk sarees, printed sarees, cotton silk sarees, designer kurtis, unique variety of dress materials and ladies leather bags and other accessories from different states were presented in the exhibition.
The exhibition, which started on February 22, continues till March 9.
