Veteran star Suhasini, the wife of star director Mani Ratnam is playing an important role in a Kannada-Telugu bilingual film Sachin Tendulkar Alla, alongside former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad.
But she had to face a tough test before taking up a directorial project! The evergreen Suhasini, who has acted in scores of Kannada films, mostly opposite late Vishnuvardhan, revealed that she wishes to direct a Kannada film in the future, but presently, it is her aged parents who are her first priority.
About the tough task she faced, Suhasini said, she had worked on directing an English movie but her life-partner and director, Mani Ratnam had rejected it! She jovially points out that she has to face the toughest of exams at home before she takes up any project! Quite a tough ask, to pass the Mani Ratnam exam!
