Digvijay's praise may pave way for Kiran’s return to Congress

Hyderabad : Following N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s comments and party state affairs in-charge Digvijay Singh statement in Delhi on Monday, there are rumours that the former Chief Minister may make a comeback into the Congress.

During a meeting with the Seemandhra leaders, Mr Reddy told them that the high command was in touch with him and "consulting" him. He said that the Congress high command's attitude in the state division issue had pained him. Mr Digvijay Singh, gave a call to the Congress leaders who left the party opposing the state division to return to the party. He said "that the state bifurcation has come to reality, so who left the party due to the division should return".

Mr Digvijay Singh said that the CM leaving the party was very unfortunate. He said that Mr Reddy had never spoken against AICC president Sonia Gandhi. "During natural calamities, he worked very hard and got an award for this," Mr Digvijay Singh said.According to sources, the high command is in contact with Mr Reddy through his close friend, Union minister M.M. Pallam Raju.
