We take a look at the bad girls of the pop world

This week, we’ll take a look at the bad girls of the pop world, who all have their songs featured in the American Hot 40. They have been in controversies for their eccentric behaviour and relationship issues, but that doesn’t stop them from making good music.
Katy Perry’s Dark Horse has been in the top five for a month. The catchy tune has made the song retain it’s first spot for two weeks in a row.
Lady Gaga has done it again with Do What You Want. The beats, the lyrics, the tune, they all make you want to listen to the song again and again. It’s in the 20th position this week.
Miley Cyrus has one of the most powerful voices in the pop world. In Adore You, she sounds hauntingly like Amy Winehouse, singing at her pace. It’s unfortunate that her antics overpower her surprisingly good music.
Rihanna and Eminem’s The Monster is perhaps one of the biggest pop hits this year. Rihanna turns the heat up in the music video. Based on the lines of Love The Way You Lie, it’s everything pop music stands for — foot tapping, a range of vocals, and a tune that lingers.
Britney Spears, who recently turned into a red head has turned mellow over the years. Her song Perfume proves that her vocals are as strong as ever, despite being active since 1992.
