Ekta Kapoor has always been driven by conviction. From venturing into parallel cinema with Shor In the City and Love Sex Aur Dokha to placing her bets on the unconventional and bold Sunny Leone, Ekta has never feared taking risks. Word has it that after the release of Ragini MMS 2, Ekta will make a film on same sex love titled Romil and Jugal. According to sources, Kapoor has roped in Danish Aslam to direct it.
“In the past, many filmmakers have attempted to make a film on the same concept but the issue was never addressed seriously. Be it Dostana or Girlfriend, the topic was always taken lightly. Knowing Ekta’s talent and eye for the perfect screenplay, she’s likely to nail it. She has already assigned the creative team to put together the script,” says our source. However, no actors have been signed on yet.
