Bandh-like atmosphere prevails in Seemandhra
Nellore: Tension prevailed across Seemandhra after the AP State Reorganisation Bill-2013 was approved in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Police deployed additional forces to prevent any untoward incidents.
Irked by the approval for Telangana Bill, YSR Congress and the joint action committees of all organisations called for a Seemandhra bandh on Wednesday.

A Telugu Nadu Students Association activist Moghul Yasthani attempted to set fire to himself after dousing his body with kerosene during a protest at Atmakur in Nellore district.
A bandh like situation prevailed in Anantapur, Kurnool and Kadapa districts. the RTC suspended bus services to prevent damage to the fleet.
Police beefed up security at the DCC office after office bearers received threat calls in Anantapur. In Kurnool, all education institutions remained closed.
