Double delight: Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh teaming up for 'Oh My God' remake
Hyderabad: Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu are responsible for bringing back the multi-starrer trend to Tollywood last year.
The two stars put aside their egos and came together for ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, which turned out to be a huge success.
After that, Venky went on to do another multi-starrer film titled ‘Masala’ with Ram Charan. And now, he’s set to team up with none other than Pawan Kalyan for an upcoming project.
The untitled film is jointly being produced by Venkatesh’s brother Suresh Babu and Sharath Marar, a close associate of Pawan. They have announced that the film is based on the English movie ‘The Man Who Sued God’ and the recent Hindi blockbuster ‘Oh My God’, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Pawan is said to be playing the role of Lord Krishna in the film.
In fact, Venky and Pawan have maintained a close relationship over the last few years and both are known to share common ideologies. There’s been some talk for a while that the two of them have been planning to come together for a film, and it’s finally going to happen.
Suresh Babu informs that filming will commence soon, as they are planning an early release for the much-awaited collaboration between the two big stars.
