K Chandrasekhar Rao, Sonia Gandhi hold one-on-one talks

Hyderabad: TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Monday.

Sources said the much anticipated one-on-one meeting lasted about half-an-hour in the evening. The two leaders discussed the TRS role in the new state, merger or alliance of the TRS with the Congress in the coming polls among others.

Asked for details of what transpired at the meeting, a TRS source said, “It is a fact KCR met Mrs Gandhi. But we have no information about what transpired at their meeting.”
