Bangalore: Even as the 14.5 ft tall bronze statue of late thespian Dr Rajkumar was unÂveiled at South End Circle, in the city, the High Court on Thursday dismissed a PIL alleging that the statue was is in violation of a Supreme Court ruling.
The division bench, headed by Chief Justice D.H. Waghela, dismissed the PIL, filed by one Ashok Kumar, seeking direction to the state government and BBMP not to allow the erection of the statue, as it was in violation of SC ruling on statues in public place.
