New Delhi: Want to buy condoms but without inviting any attention? A new mobile application now available which enables people shy of going to chemists to buy condoms by ordering them through it.
Condoms would be delivered discreetly and perhaps save many the blushes if they had to go to the chemist instead.
Moreover, the mobile application (app) also helps people locate stores selling condoms in a city.
The app has an inbuilt map which will detect mobile users location and let users know the nearest shop where they can find condoms.
Skore condoms has launched the first of its kind mobile application earlier this month and it's available on Google’s Android app store Play store as well as Apple stores.
“Through this app we have tried to tackle the embarrassment which some has while buying condom. Within two weeks, some 2,000 people have downloaded the app. There are already 40-45 reviews on Playstore and people have appreciated it,” Skore, general manager (marketing) Vishal Vyas told this newspaper.
The store locator facility is currently available in Mumbai and the company is planning to add Delhi, Bangalore and Pune in the next few days. Thereafter, it plans to make the facility available in India’s top 10 ten cities, among them Hyderabad and Chennai.
“Through this app we are trying to be near the customer when they are looking for you,” said Mr Vyas.The app also give tips to the users to spice up their sex lives. “The app contains more than 100 sex positions for men and women. This will enable the users to brush up their sexual repertoire,” he said.
