Pakistan’s ISI getting ready to unleash terror on India in an unprecedented way.
New Delhi: Credible information available with Indian intelligence suggests that Pakistan’s ISI is working on an ambitious two pronged strategy to unleash terror on India in an unprecedented way by not just using the Taliban in the Kashmir Valley but also dreaded terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Bangladesh) from the eastern sector along the porous Indo-Bangladesh border.
These apprehensions have been expressed in a classified report prepared by intelligence agencies and circulated to home ministry and the office of the national security adviser.
The report states: “The fact that Taliban will use its resources in the Kashmir Valley following the withdrawal of US forces and its allies from Afghanistan in 2014 is well known. But what is alarming is that ISI wants to open ano-ther front along the Indo-Bangladesh border by using HuJI(B) operatives.’’
According to the report, “This is a deliberate ploy by the ISI to deflect the attention towards Kashmir and hit hard using HuJI through the Indo-Bangladesh border.”
