Submit HCA probe report: HC to ACB

Hyderabad: Justice Ramesh Ranganathan of the AP High Court on Wednesday directed the Anti Corruption Bureau to place the reports pertaining to investigation into alleged irregularities by certain office bearers of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, before the court prior to January 29.

The judge was dealing with a plea by Roshanara Cricket Club urging the court intervene into the ACB probe and also monitor the investigation into the alleged irregularities by certain officer bearers of the HCA.

The ACB has informed the court that the investigation officer in the case has submitted an interim report with regard to construction which has been undertaken by the HCA and a special team also submitted its investigation report to the ACB director general under 148 heads by giving its findings and observations.

The judge directed the ACB to place those reports before the court.

Roshanara Cricket Club filed the writ petition seeking a direction of inaction by ACB in not conducting a fair, proper, impartial, unbiased investigation with respect to an FIR on corruption by the HCA office bearers.
