Kareena Kapoor wants to regain lost ground

Kareena now wants to bounce back after Heroine, Satyagraha and Gori Tere Pyar Mein failed to perform.

Kareena Kapoor is dejected, but not disillusioned, by the fate of her films. The actress, who hasn’t had a single hit film after 'Ra.One', is now looking forward to 'Shuddhi' and 'Singham 2'. Now B-town has been buzzing with speculation that it was Kareena who spoke to director Rohit Shetty to get her on board for 'Singham 2'. Apparently, the actress wants to prove a point to her detractors.

A hit film will definitely get Bebo back in the reckoning. Probably that’s also why she hasn’t opted out of 'Shuddhi'. With Hrithik Roshan in the lead, the film is assured of a big opening, and that’s exactly what Kareena is looking for at this juncture.

'Not one to accept defeat, Kareena is rumoured to have taken the challenging phase in her career very positively. “Barring Kareena, most actresses of her stature like Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra, have sustained their commercial viability with multi-crore earning films. Kareena now wants to bounce back as well after 'Heroine', 'Satyagraha' and 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein' failed to perform at the box office,” our source said. A trade expert noted, “Opting out of 'Ram-Leela' was a bad career move for Kareena. Playing it safe with Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan films should bail her out.”
