IIT-Bombay student's body was recovered from a lodge in Visakhapatnam.

Visakhapatnan: A student of IIT-Bombay who was missing for a week was found dead in Visakhapatnam. Mystery shrouds the death of M Siva Theja, a resident of Hyderabad.

The decomposed body of Theja was recovered from a lodge. When the police reached the spot they found a polythene taped to Theja's face.

The cause of death is not known, but going by the circumstantial evidence, police say it could be a suicide, but are not ruling out murder too.

Theja, a PhD student of IIT-Bombay, had left the campus last week without informing anyone. It is a routine for PhD students to go out for interviews or other academic work.
