Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata, who had been admitted to a Mumbai hospital with fluid in her lungs and a tumour in her liver, is responding to treatment.
Manyata had been hospitalised on January 8 and Sunjay Dutt, who is currently on parole from Pune’s Yerawada jail due to his wife’s ill health, has been constantly by her side.
Talking to DC, cardiologist Dr Ajay Chaugule, who has been treating Manyata, says, “It is true that she is responding to the medicine. I cannot disclose anything further. We have already completed one round of tests, but we are doing other tests too. After this we will be able to diagnose exactly what she’s suffering from. I will be in a position to confirm the same in three days.” About the actor always being by Manyata’s side, he adds, “I do not know whether his parole has been extended. But he is definitely always at her side.”
The doctor adds that after the test results are back, he will only disclose the details to the media if the family wishes to do so. In the meantime, we wish Manyata a speedy recovery.
