After displaying their rather close camaraderie at parties, award shows and shoots, actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have decided to lay low for the time being. Now that it’s been a while since their film 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' released, the two have instructed their respective managers to not hype their off-screen relationship for publicity.
However, Dippy still continues to stand up for her man if need be. The actress, who has been sweeping awards at the recent shows, was overheard talking to a filmmaker about how Ranveer is getting a raw deal. “Her point is that Ranveer deserves a nomination at least. Just like Farhan Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor played crucial roles in their films 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', 'Chennai Express' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' respectively, even Ranveer played a pivotal role in 'GKRRL' and 'Lootera', and it is not being acknowledged,” says a source.
Deepika is ecstatic that she is ruling the roost currently, but she would love to share that glory with her onscreen and off-screen love, we guess. But when will she ever admit to it publicly? Our guess is as good as yours.
