Hyderabad: A newborn boy’s body was found at Muslim Jung Pul on Sunday. The infant was found on the corner of a bridge by the public, who informed the police.
The kid had a tag on his hand ‘Renuka, wife of Narsimulu 800 grams.’
Police said the baby was one day old, and was probably born at the government maternity hospital at Puranapul on Saturday. “We inquired with the maternity hospital.
The hospital is yet to provide us information,” SI Krishnam Raju said.
Police said that an inquiry was launched to find out the cause of death and trace the parents. The body was shifted to Osmania GH?mortuary.
