Shruti Haasan seems to be Tollywood filmmakers’ favourite lucky mascot. After her first taste of success with 'Gabbar Singh' opposite Pawan Kalyan a couple of years ago, Shruti turned into the golden girl. She followed it up with another hit 'Balupu' opposite Ravi Teja. While her other film 'Ramayya Vasthavayya' (in which she made a cameo appearance) may not have done well, Shruti has had another big-ticket release with the Ram Charan-starrer 'Yevadu'.
“If the film had released earlier as planned, the result would have been different. They are lucky that they delayed the release by six months, as it’s doing well now,” says a source.
Although she appears only in the second half of the film, Shruti’s performance has been appreciated more than Amy Jackson’s, who has made her Telugu debut with 'Yevadu'.
