Counter plaint by AAP splinter
Chennai: In a counter-move to Aam Admi Party state convener Christina Samy’s complaint on January 13 agaÂinst a splinter group, K.P. Narayanan, who claimed to be the Chennai district coÂnvener on Saturday apÂpÂroached the police commissioner’s office stating the complaint filed by ChÂristina was incorrect and alleged cheating and non-transparency in the party.
In a written complaint, the group stated that the party had been functioning from rented premises at Aminjikarai for the paÂst 18 months, when ChriÂstina Samy shifted the offÂice to Kilpauk all of a suÂdÂÂden.
“The office at AmÂinÂjiÂkarai was under contrÂact for two years, with a rental amount of Rs 18,000,” he said. However without paying rent for six moÂnÂths and without any prior notice, the office has been shifted and the keys and original contract weÂre not returned, it was alleged.
Narayanan in his complaint alleÂged that his posÂition as Chennai district convener and that of his associates were dissolved after they raised questioÂns about trusts — Areds and Swathi — beÂing run by Christina and claimed to be worth Rs 200 crore.
