Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh was adjudged as the best State for Oil and Gas Conservation in view of the performance by the A.P. Civil Supplies and other Departments.
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Veerappa Moily presented the award to Civil Supplies Commissioner Sunil Sharma in New Delhi.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who was shown the award by the Commissioner, Civil Supplies at Camp Office on Saturday lauded the efforts of the Departments in conserving oil and gas and said Andhra Pradesh can take pride in bagging the award. Chief Secretary Dr P.K.Mohanty was also present.
