Thrissur: The five-day 62nd All-India Police Games Volleyball Cluster would begin at the Kerala Police Academy at nearby Ramavarmapuram on Monday.
In all 1618 men would take part in the different categories from various parts of the State and the Central Police Forces like CRPF, CISF, ITBP, RPF, BSF and SSB, Organizing Secretary and Thrissur Range Inspector General of Police, S Gopinath told newsmen here today.
Besides Volley, Basketball, Handball and Kabaddi will fall under the cluster, he added.
In all 102 teams would take part.
There would be 31 teams of volleyball, 25 teams (Basketball) 21 teams (Handball) and 25 teams (Kabaddi), Gopinath said.
The Director General of Police and Kerala State Police Forces Chief, K S Balasubramanian would inaugurate the event.
