Ace director Vikraman, whose last directorial venture was 'Mariyadhai' (2009), is now back after four years with the film, 'Ninaithadhu Yaaro', which stars Rejith, playing the lead role. He has acted in quite a few films in Malayalam, and this film with Vikraman is his first in Kollywood. He pairs opposite Nimisha, and the movie is all set to release this month. When asked about his first film in K’town and his experience of working with Vikraman, Rejith says, “I am blessed to get such a good team to work with as a debutant. Vikraman is a perfectionist, and he is one director whose family dramas have always been well received at the box office. But this film is totally different from his previous ones. It’s a very different love story, which would definitely grab the attention of youngsters.” The most interesting fact is that prominent people in the industry are playing a guest role in the flick, including Barathiraja, Ameer, Jayam Ravi, Suriya and many others. “I play the role of an assistant director. It’s about the struggle of a man to achieve his dreams, and about his love life,” he says.
Rejith has also signed his next flick with Sharavanan Subbaiya, director of Ajith’s Citizen, and has completed shooting for a Telugu flick which will be released soon.
