Do justice to Seemandhra: Bosta to Congress Working Committee
Hyderabad: PCC president has conveyed his dissent in the extended Congress Working Committee on Thursday, over pushing the Telangana Bill in haste without attending to genuine issues confronting the Seemandhra region.
He has told Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul gandhi that unless the Congress is going to address the genuine issues it will be difficult to cooperate with the bifurcation process.
He has suggested to them that disparities like manufacturing sector, information technology, state revenues, assured water, public and private employment, socio and economics needs be addressed and assurance be given to Seemaandhra people.
He told them people are afraid of stunned economic growth in Seemandhra on account of bifurcation. “Unless you resolve the issues it is not desirable to go ahead with Telangana process,” Satyanarayana observed in CWC meet. He also demanded that the Telangana draft Bill contain addressing all the key issues before it is finally approved in Parliament.
