Extend Assembly Session, says Telugu Desam
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Krishna district president Devineni Umamaheswara Rao on Thursday demanded that the state government request the President to extend the Assembly Session by six more weeks.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Rao said that till now, only six members participated in the debate on the AP State Reorganisation Bill-2013, while all the members are keen to participate in the debate.
Rao also suspected the hand of Santosh Reddy, brother of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, behind the appearance of banners and flexies in the city relating to Samaikyandhra party.
The TD leader also accused the Congress of cheating the people through Kiran Kumar Reddy. Rao also accused the YSR Congress of playing “cash and caste” politics in the state.
