Bipasha Basu admitted that she has reached a stage where she’s emotionally ready to tie the knot. “I believe that I’ve reached a ‘marriageable age’. I’ve worked hard and now I do feel I’m ready to settle down. I believe in the institution of marriage and I’d want to get married in a respectable manner,” Bips said, in a candid interview to this publication.
Now her last remark could be interpreted as a dig at former partner John Abraham’s hush-hush wedding to Priya Runchal. But Bips isn’t commenting on the issue. Instead, we ask her about the level of compatibility she shares with beau Harman Baweja. “Too much has been written about us,” she says. “I’ll make a formal announcement when I’m getting married. I’ll wait for the right time.”
Bipasha has refrained from talking about her equation with Harman. But they have posted a series of photos on social media. Will the upcoming film Creature be Bips’ last film as an actor? “I was 15 when I started my career. I don’t know anything else. I’ve just launched my third fitness DVD. I’m doing things apart from just acting in films. Irrespective of my age or martial status, I believe in working and being independent,” she says.
