61st senior National Kabaddi Championship from Jan 21
Patna: Top national Kabaddi players, including Rakesh Kumar and Tejeshwini Bai, would be seen in action in a four-day 61st Senior National Kabaddi Championship to be held here at the Patliputra Sports Complex from January 21
Secretary of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, Kumar Vijay said in a release here today that about 700 players and officials from 32 men and women teams from different parts of the country, including Railways and Indian Army teams, are scheduled to take part in the January 21-24 championship.
He said logo of the 61st Senior National Kabaddi Championship "Sparrow" was today released by Anjani Kumar Singh, President of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association and Principal Secretary of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Sparrow is the state bird of Bihar. Kumar said two new synthetic cover has been laid on the wooden court at the sports complex.
