Comedian Soori, betterknown as Parotta Soori, has emerged into the limelight post his outstanding performance in films like 'Sundarapandian', 'Varuttha Padatha Vaalibhar Sangham', 'Pandiya Naadu' and more recently, 'Jilla', where he shared screen space with Vijay. Now, every producer wants to cast him in his film despite the actor hiking his fees considerably. The latest one is Savarikkadu which is being directed by Krishnakumar.
As the film has relative newcomers in the main cast, including Ravindhran, Rajapandi and Krishnakumar, and the heroines being Swathy and Renu, the producer has brought on board Soori for full-fledged humour. He says that Soori is the movie’s biggest strength. A thriller, the story unfolds entirely in a jungle.
