Gautham Vasudev Menon and A.R. Murugadoss share something in common with producer Thanu, known for his grand productions. Both have made a film, Kaaka Kaaka and Thuppakki respectively for Thanu which had them present at the audio launch of his upcoming film, 'Ner Ethir'. A suspense thriller by Jayapradeep, NE has Parthi playing the lead role which has highly negative shades. Hugely impressed with the style of the film, Thanu had purchased it for worldwide distribution.
All who spoke, including P.Vasu, GVM, ARM, Vikraman and R.K. Selvamani heaped praise on Thanu’s classy taste and the unique promos he does for his films. “I met many producers with the Kaaka Kaaka script and literally waited a year and a half before I met Thanu sir. I was longing to get an identity then when he liked my subject and came forward to produce it. To go with the title "Kaaka Kaaka" (one who protects), Thanu till date is my protector. For the last few weeks, he has been talking about 'Ner Ethir' and suggested that I do the remake in Telugu and Hindi. I am also looking forward to watching it,” remarked Gautham.
