Star slamming
Stars lashing out at media isn’t something unheard of. But, when stars go overboard, sometimes with a relentless barrage of angry tweets, we wonder if the celeb in the picture is worth all the attention he or she gets.
Salman Khan surpasses everyone in slamming at the media. The actor lashed out at the media that he was unfairly targeted. He went on national television saying stars are always shown in a bad light with clippings of theirs used with any random information being talked about on their personal lives, questioning the integrity of media on why they always show the stars in poor light. There have been many instances when he’s lost his cool.
Sunanda Pushkar’s rant at media took a rather drastic turn when she threw a fit and lost her temper with a journalist when she saw the minister interacting with him and told him to back off. She was at her bashful best when she was reported screaming, “I have thrown liquor at Arnab Goswami. You think I can’t do that to you?” She later had to depend on social networking sites to defend herself.
On another instance, Shah Rukh Khan vented his angst when mediapersons asked for his reaction on his insight into the life for a Muslim in the post 9/11 world. He said, “Do not trivialise the matter anymore and also get into the matter of national interest.” Is lashing out at someone a solution? To each one his own.
