Apart from winding up his pending assignments, RK is also gearing up to shoot for his maiden home production Bombay Velvet. According to the latest buzz, the otherwise confident actor is now a little confused.
According to trade analysts, Ranbir’s film and Aamir Khan’s next have been slated for a Christmas release. With Aamir almost monopolising the Christmas slot, Ranbir is in a bind. “The release dates of these films went through quite a few changes. But having Bombay Velvet and Aamir’s film release on the same day would be big clash. The concerned people are trying to rework the dates but there has been no solution yet,” a trade source said.
With the phenomenal 'Dhoom 3' collections, Aamir has proved that cinematically, he has his finger unerringly on the moneyspinners. Will Ranbir match up to such tough competition?
A clash at the box office is never good news for the parties concerned, and when it involves two such huge stars, it means a split in the audience, and in prospective business. Small wonder then that these films want to avoid one at any cost.
