3’s good company for Shwetha Pandit
Talent comes in all sizes, but as far as this pretty girl is concerned, it is purely hard work and perseverance. Shwetha Pandit made it big after her appearance on a TV reality show and is even more popular now as fans anticipate her upcoming film 'Eradondla Mooru'. Shwetha had also bagged a golden opportunity to co-host a dance reality TV show but had to opt out of it citing clashes in dates.
“It was a great experience hosting the brand new dance reality show. However, I could not continue as the dates of my present projects including my upcoming film 'Eradondla Mooru' and other commitments clashed. I have decided to opt out of the show,” says Shwetha Pandit.
The pretty actress will also be seen performing for a “special” number in Kiccha?Sudeep’s next directorial venture Maanikya starring Kiccha Sudeep himself with Crazy Star Ravichandran and Southern Star Ramya Krishna. “I will be performing the title track for "Maanikya" along with Sudeep sir, and two other actresses. I am really looking forward to it,” says Shwetha.
About her film 'Eradondla Mooru', where she plays the lead character, she says, “I am playing the role of a drama director and the character in the film resembles me to a large extent. It is what every girl is supposed to be — stronger from within. It is a special film for me. No matter how busy and tired I am, as soon as I join the 'Eradondla Mooru' team while shooting, I feel rejuvenated.”
The actress was last seen dancing for a song in the critically acclaimed movie 'Dyavre'. Shwetha is also acting in 'Looti' where she is essaying the role of a thief. Looti also features the Bollywood Bindass girl Isha Koppikar, in the role of a cop. While responding on whether she regrets missing an opportunity to co-host a reality show, Shwetha says, “I am lucky to get such an opportunity but my forte is and will always be films. I made it clear to the organisers that I could not continue at the cost of my producers and my other team, who have invested so much in me and the projects.”
Currently, interested in doing only Kannada films even though she is getting offers from neighbouring industries, she says, “I have been looking at various scripts and will be acting in a film with a women-centric subject. I believe that movies do bring a change in society. I prefer such films that have a message,” she adds.
Shwetha feels that her journey has been a mixed bag of adventure and thanks all her supporters, especially her fans, who have backed her in all her endeavours.
