Abhay Deol unhappy with marketing of his production 'One By Two'
Mumbai, Jan 15: Actor Abhay Deol, who is making his debut as a producer with 'One By Two', seems unhappy with the way the film is being marketed.
Last night at the Screen awards, Abhay was spotted with a 'black eye' as a symbol of protest.
"The black eye I was sporting at the Screen awards is my symbol of protest. It was a way to say that the marketing of my film 'One by Two' has taken a beating. In my profession we often use makeup to create drama," Abhay said.
The music of 'One By Two' has not released yet while the film is set to hit the screens on January 31. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have composed the music of the film, are refusing to abide by the terms laid down by music label T-Series.
Their contract is yet to be signed and hence the music of the film has not been released.
The trio has asked to collect the royalty of the film's music directly. Their lawyers have advised them not to sign the agreement as it is illegal and cannot allow the music company to collect royalty on their behalf. Abhay has chosen to side the trio.
"I have always worked with the underdog and I have never hesitated from doing films that nobody else wanted to do. I know I have lost out on the music but I will not allow injustice to anyone," he said.
