Getting to the Globes
This year’s Golden Globes was anything but bland with Hollywood dressing up in their flashiest best for what’s considered as the road to the Oscars.
Also, a peek into Instagram was able to give us a rare insight into the sort of preparations and “treatments” stars undergo before their big day on the red carpet.
No expense was spared to get the perfect look — from last-minute touch-ups in the car to flying down professional dress fitters.
Fans got a look at P. Diddy’s infamous hours-long cosmetic regime after the star posted a photograph of him wearing anti-puffiness eye-patches. Diddy wrote on social media, “For the next hour I’m giving a tutorial on how to get ready for the Golden Globes. These here are cucumber patches flown in from Milan. I know it looks crazy, but nobody said perfection was easy.”
Actress Emma Roberts chose her Golden Globes dress on the final day, only after the make-up and hair were done.
And speaking of last minute, former model Heidi Klum got final make-up touches in the car with her army of assistants giving one of the world’s most famous faces its highlights — even as potholes posed a threat.
Harry Potter actor Tom Felton was sent an assortment of suits from his favourite suitmaker Spencer Hart and the actor did spend a while to pick the perfect fit.
