Anirudh scored a hat-trick and Himanshu scored a brace as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s (Sainikpuri) scored a thumping 5-0 win over Neelkant School at the 10th Sachdev Sports inter-school football tournament, organised by the Shastri Soccer Club at Trimulgherry.
In other matches, St Patrick’s High School ‘A’, St Patrick’s High School ‘B’ and Spring School registered important wins. St Patrick’s ‘A’, thanks to a goal by Gautam, beat DPS Nacharam 3-0 while St Patrick’s ‘B’ scored a 3-1 win over the Government Boys’ High School. Spring edged past Good Faith High School 3-2 on penalties after the match was locked 2-2 in regulation time.
