Hyderabad: The police has arrested three more suspects in the Mumbai model gangrape case on Sunday.
While one of the suspects, Hari Krishna, a native of Armur Mandal in Nizamabad, surrendered on his own at the Bowenpally police station, Ajay Sharma was arrested in Mumbai.
Apart from the four main suspects, the cops also arrested the car driver Ravi from his native place in Nizamabad.
All the five arrested men will be produced in court soon. Meanwhile, the police said that the case will be transferred to Cyberabad since the place of offence is located in Kukatpally police station limits.
The Mumbai model, who came to Hyderabad on the New Year eve to perform in an event, was allegedly drugged and raped by the arrested men in a house at Nizampet.
The victim was invited to Hyderabad by one of the arrested men named Happy, who also allegedly raped her along with the others.
The woman found out that she was raped after she reached Mumbai and regained full conciousness the next day. The culprits put her in a Volvo bus bound for Mumbai after raping her. They also robbed her off Rs 57,000, police said.
