Speculations ran high about Prince Mahesh Babu who is on cloud nine for his Sankranthi offering One Nenokkadine getting a massive opening. The actor, garnered critical acclaim for his performance is likely to be roped in by none other than filmmaker Mani Ratnam for a bilingual. The grapevine buzzes that the Roja director has also approached Nagarjuna for the film. If this works out, then it will be a coup of sorts.
Apparently, Nag had worked with the filmmaker several years ago in Geethanjali which turned out to be a blockbuster and a milestone film for the Tollywood star. But for Mahesh, this will be the first outing if things turn true although there were reports earlier that the actor and Mani may join hands for the cinematic interpretation of the epic Kalki’s Ponniyin Selvan which didn’t materialise.
