Will Priyanka Chopra don producer’s mantle?
She is apparently ready to start work on a home production, the script for which is finalised
Our industry khabrus tell us that Priyanka Chopra has been discreetly working on her maiden home production. The script of the film has been finalised, but due to Priyanka’s hectic schedule, progress on the project is extremely slow.
“She is a successful actor in Bollywood and is now a well known singer internationally. This is the perfect time to progress and make the most of her stardom. It requires confidence and courage to start a production house at her age,” said a source close to PeeCee. We hear that a creative team is already doing the pre-production work on the film.
Priyanka has always believed in, and endorsed quality over quantity. The film PeeCee is allegedly producing will have high production values and an impressive star cast. “In all probability, she’ll star in her home production. But no confirmation has come on this as yet,” our source added. If Priyanka’s film takes off, she’ll be the first actress of her generation to take the production plunge.
