Mahima’s challenging role in Mosakutty

Mollywood girl Mahima made a mark with her debut film, the National Award winning 'Saattai' playing a school girl.

Mollywood girl Mahima made a mark with her debut film, the National Award winning 'Saattai' playing a school girl.  Now the pretty actress has  graduated to  heroine roles with 'Mosakutty'. Produced by John Max, who made critically acclaimed films like 'Mynaa' and 'Saattai', the popular cinematographer turned filmmaker Jeevan wields the megaphone.

About her role in 'Mosakutty', Mahima tells DC, “When Saattai was released; I wasn’t recognised as a heroine. Kayalvizhi, my character in 'Mosakutty' is a challenging role.  I had the opportunity to project various emotions;  at times she is bold, she can be   childish too; she is romantic and emotional as well. I thank Jeevan sir for the faith he had in me.” 

 

Veera, a newcomer from Koothu-p-pattarai plays the male protagonist.  Pasupathy returns after a brief hiatus and  Jo Malluri essays a key role. Ramesh Vinayagam has scored the music.
