Nanaiah shines for RBI
Nanaiah struck once in each half to hand Reserve Bank of India a 3-1 win against Coorg Hockey Association in the KSHA ‘A’ Division Hockey League championship at the KSHA on Thursday.
Kavin opened the proceedings for the winners, while Subbaiah struck the lone goal for the vanquished.

Result: RBI (Kavin 6th minute, Nanaiah 12th and 59th) beat Coorg Hockey Association 1 (Subbaiah 12th).

Karnataka boys and girls teams had a good outing winning their matches in the 40th Junior National volleyball championships at Dehradun. While the Karnataka lads defeated SAI 3-1, the girls outplayed Chandigarh 3-0

Seminar for referees
A seminar for referees of Karnataka has been organised on Jan. 11 at the Bangalore Football stadium by the Karnataka State Football Association in coordination with the referees’ committee.
The seminar will be conducted by Col (Rtd) Goutam Kar, a FIFA-retired referee and currently head of the Referees Department of All India Football Federation.

Soha bags gold
S.Soha emerged champion in the National School Games tennis tournament at Pune from January 2-4. The 15-year-old class 10 student of Cluny Convent, Jalahalli became the first girl from the state to win the title.
