We’ll throw bombs at CM: Telangana Jagruti president Kavita
Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruti president, Kavita, said that if Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy comes to bat (to stall Telangana), Telangana women will not throw balls but bombs at him.
She was addressing the Sampoorna Telangana Sadhana Deeksha, organised by the TJAC at Indira Park here on Tuesday.
A few days back, the Karimnagar police slapped cases against Congress MP, Ponnam Prabhakar, for allegedly threatening the Chief Minister.
Prabhakar gestured with hands at a media conference that he would shoot the helicopter in which the Chief Minister arrives in Karimnagar for a function. Though he denied it, it kicked up a row.
Kavitha also questioned civil supplies minister, D. Sridhar Babu, handing over the resignation letter to minister K. Jana Reddy instead of the Governor.
Kavitha also demanded that T-Ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet should quit since they failed to ensure a discussion on the Telangana Bill.
“What is the point in hanging on to a minister’s post when they cannot ensure a discussion on Telangana,”?she said.
