Ram Charan Tej
I’m known as an action hero in the South and my recent Bollywood debut too confirms the tag. So, I have to look tough and beefy most of the time. Hence, regular fitness does feature on my agenda as a daily discipline. To carve a sculpted physique, a minimum three-four hours’ training is compulsory. Toned muscles on a rugged body really looks great on screen.
Bench presses, push-ups, skipping, treadmill, cardio, kick-boxing are part of any common fitness regime. But I also indulge in a bit of sports fitness. Being an avid equestrian (horseback rider), I own a polo team and riding does help me keep fit in general.
My diet is not super rigid. Every morning, a glass of cow milk is a good start for the day ahead. I always prefer meals prepared in til ka tel (sesame oil) as it adds to the youthful glow and keeps the system in balance. Many are unaware that I am a good cook too! I love spending time in the kitchen, tossing up healthy recipes for my family, especially my wife Upasana who keeps complimenting me on my culinary skills.
