They are like two peas in a pod. Twins Aina and Aima will make their debut in Mollywood film 'Love and Love Only', to be directed by Manu KannanÂdhanam. Though their looks mirror each other, their outlook and opinions are very dissimilar.
For Mollywood it would be a first of its kind with the twins making their debut as heroines in the film. Speaking about casting the Dubai -based twins for his film, Manu explained, “The story demanded twins and you can also call it my adamancy to cast real life twins in the main role. They are performing really well and I am happy with the way they are acting! “
Coming back to twins, they had the support of their parents who gave them the go ahead. Aina said, “We are basically classical dancers, but we also do Western dances. Acting is something new for both of us and we are getting to learn the ropes, but it is an enjoyable experience! We are yet to get used to the acting process but the entire crew has been very supportive. The fact that we speak Malayalam quite fluently is also a big advantage.”
Aina and Aima are far away from their home but comfortable working together. Speaking about the support they lend each other, Aina opined, “In front of the camera, we forget we are siblings and get into the character. Of course the presence of Aima is a big comfort and a huge support. “
The twin’s viewpoint also varies when they speak about continuing their tinsel town foray. Aima very candidly said, “Acting is an ok experience. I have never been very interested in acting, instead photography is what I like and I aim to be a photographer someday soon. Acting never did cross my mind and I still don’t find that pull towards it. This may be my first and last attempt at acting.”
Aina on the other hand does not mind giving acting a shot and said, “Education is my first priority and films are secondary, but if good offers come my way, I do not mind giving it a try.” Right now they are enjoying the best of both worlds.
