Anams’ experts in producing leaders

Nellore: Sannapareddi Penchal Reddy, former Congress corporator and a very close follower of Anam brothers for over three decades till he joined YSR Congress recently, said that Anam family is capable of producing politicians and they hardly care about departure of any one from their group including himself.

Speaking to media persons for the first time after he joined YSR Congress, Penchal Reddy said that he left the Congress because the party has initiated bifurcation process ignoring the pleas of party men in Seemandhra against the move.

He refuted the allegations that Anam brothers themselves have sent him to YSRC to have a tab on the activities of YSRC.

A wholesale trader of edible oils by profession and president of State Edible Oil Dealers Welfare Association, Penchal Reddy said that he revered Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy because he fought for the cause of traders when the TD government introduced Vigilance Act in 2002-03 and instructed the officials to book at least 20 cases every month.

“Rajasekhar Reddy slammed the government for harassing the traders in the Assembly as opposition leader then. All the traders should be grateful to Dr YSR and his family. We are going to print pamphlets on the services of Dr YSR to business community and distribute the same door to door in the areas where business men are living. We will seek their support for YSRC since Jagan will continue the good work of his father,” Penchal Reddy said.
